but it took them a million editions to have adjustable sliders for the rgb sliders, and still havent got mirror feature for drawing which is annoying as a massive consumer base for photoshop are digital artists. Theres that or have photoshop themselves sort it out. Not sure if there going to be any luck with this, but ive spoken to another artist buddy on photoshop who does the demo for coolorus colour picker, he also agrees that it would be an awesome idea, and is going to pass the the info to the developers of coolorus to see if they can implement it in their next patch, i was just trying to find some alternative way of getting it done. And my belkin macros i can make can remove all the delays to make things instant too. Im not sure to what extent autohotkey scripting can do but, ive tried some basic stuff, and the mouse moves to the point where i want it to click, clciks and returns slowly by the time u put the wacom pen back onto the tablet to paint, it draws some odd shift click type of line, it feels as though there are long delay between the command and action, whereas the photoshop action recording itself is pretty quick. but this is super tedious especially if you want to render awesome colours over the surface of forms. All the top illustrators paint by mouse clicking on the picker window or adjust the sliders by dragging manually. i can tell you, youd be doing the entire illustration commmunity a massive favour, personally i believe this will change the way of digital painting. to the efficiency level of how the bracket keys can adjust brush size. However i must stress, if you can fin a way to toggle the RGB sliders easily. And hope to somehow bind it to some keys, lol i also have a nostromo belkin n5te gamepad thing that i bind all my photoshop keys n macros to, i have actions made that are bound to keys for efficiency in painting. I waas going to set up the script so that it just presses up or down on that. im using a plugin for photoshop called the coolorus colour picker thing, that has up and down buttons on it, that u can click witht he mouse to move the slider in single increments. Hey there boiler, in reply to exascryz aswell, there is no point seeing my script as i dont know what im doing i have no knowledge in scripting i did something a bit different. If I get something together, I'll post it. Or if you want to try it and see if that works for you, go ahead. I might have some time tomorrow to put something together to try to control the slider via that method. So the best way might be to read the value in the Edit1 control (or whichever one is active or you make active via the script) and stuff a new value in there at any increment you want. I have Photoshop, and I see that the slider in the color picker moves when you enter a new value in the currently active field. and sorry for any confusion and thanks again for the help But this method if i can get it to work effectively can change the whole dynamic of painting in photoshop, The general way of colour picking on photoshop involves either moving the slider or clicking on areas of the colour palette, or eyedrop. so the slider will be all over the place. so is there anyway i can shorten this?ĭragging would be cool but i dont think that will work because they are adjustment sliders to change colour on photoshop. is there a way i can loop it with the speed of say scrolling? If i cant do this, and just wanted to move in increments of 5 for example than one. When i hold down the button it loops the script and action which is cool. However there seems to be delays, i have t press the buttton twice, and then it moves the cursor back to the original location which causes a little delay. So what ive done is do a double click, the first click is on a set of coordinates that activate the window, the second set of coordinates is a new set for taht particular window which presses the button i need. You need to move something directly on the screen. You can also use a MouseClickDrag command for those times when
